I'm sorry for your loss and understand the silver lining of the timing. I'm not surprised that at least some will be innocent. When there are legal paths to do these things and they choose illegal ones instead you have to ask WHY. Even if the answer is terrifying.

I remembered you mentioning this, and I knew his story too of course, so I had been thinking of you both yesterday and today. How triggering it must be to so many people. And how horrible that we could face a new generation enduring the same thing. At least we know that we did not sit silently by.

John Stewart's podcast this week Maria Ressa was wonderful. I highly recommend but let me boil it down to what I heard. Facts must be facts to everyone. Then you can have truth. Then you can have trust. It really clarifies why talking to Trump supporters goes nowhere.

I've been using the #finchapp. It has been a huge help but today I hatched and egg that was perfect. He looks just like my dog Pooka did when he was a puppy. And he was a very simple minded sweet guy so to us the wizard hat is really a dunce cap. He was the sweetest Pyr and a huge heart.

Yeah I'm mostly off of there but today I just had to rant about the news out of Panama. I guess whatever friends I lose weren't the kind of people I want to keep anyway. 🤷🏻♀️
