Posit (VS Code base and interface + R friendly console) is also great for this. Scholars should consider composing books, articles, and presentations in Code/Posit, using LaTeX or Typst or Quarto Markdown, instead of MS Office or even LibreOffice. It’s free, intuitive and super powerful.
