It’s been real 2025!This year definitely came with it challenges for both: Me as a person and me as an DJ & Producer. As a Dj, This year my wife and I took on doing content together. We also were chosen to be the DJs for the Otakon after party which was such a good night. We tested out doing our first event, attended several cons and parties, and we both had some very nerdy weddings this year that we did on our own. I started a mashup series, started putting content on YouTube and this year we really got to experiment with new things including photography and lighting. I think I clocked in around 80 weddings this year as well. A bit shoutout to my Rhythmix team and musician that I’ve had the honor of working side by side with this year. You guys are truly family to me. As a producer, I started out the year with releasing an animal crossing remix I didn’t finish in time for 2024. After attending Magfest, I made it a goal to collaborate as much as possible with as many peeps in my Vgm circle. I’ve had the honor this year to work besides Tiggs, Theology, RyuMatrix, RnJi, Firaga Records, Emulator, Hotline Sehwani, and DJ Law. I’ve learned so much this year from all of you and hope to create more art with you all next year. I also joined Cosmic Academy and learned better production techniques. Unfortunately, I did set a goal of a song a month and didnt reach that mark (got 9 songs done this year) so next year I plan to go harder and do better. But according to Spotify wrapped I had 9k listeners and 20.8k streams.And as a person, this year has been wild. The biggest being the fact that we got a house the day before Halloween. This was a lot of restless nights, hard work, and a lot of DJing that got me to this point where I provide for my family. I’m still extremely grateful that things worked out how they did. That being said, 2024 did come with a huge AI shift which I do not like at all. It’s unavoidable from art, to music, to being used in every app. I hate it and hope that next year I can cut through the AI noise more as an Artist than ever before.
