Has there already been a "loss" cow tools?
Best example that was ever set for me - when I was an underclassmen in college, an influential senior apologized the next day after missing a meeting. We all would have let it slide but he stopped and acknowledged it. I have never forgotten that simple act of humility and respect.

Not watching the Superbowl today, but I wanted to mention...I had never listened to Bad Bunny. I assumed it was pop drivel that only kids liked. Boy, was I wrong! I listened to a few songs and it brought me back to my college jazz band days. Anything with real horn arrangements is ok with me ๐บ

I'll have to quit here. I thought I could express the product of two Lรถschian numbers as another Lรถschian number:
(aยฒ + ab + bยฒ)(cยฒ + cd + dยฒ) = (xยฒ + xy + yยฒ)
But I couldn't figure out a way to express x and y in terms of a, b, c, and d.

I was just using this as an example to explain to a student why the natural number e is so important. I looked up the formula for air resistance, and to my horror, realized that it's proportional to the SQUARE of the velocity.

Small victory: I solved a differential equation (for the first time in a long time) so I could give my advanced physics class a problem in which friction was proportional to velocity (like air resistance).

I was really curious about that red graph. I guessed its domain was restricted because of the square roots, so I solved it individually for x and y so I could see "the rest" of it. Each "branch" tends to a slope of 1, so they will never intersect the blue line ever again.
