Everyone asking "what are the factors" instead of "HOW are the factors"

We got to watch a friend's daughter, a few years older than my girls, same age as my stepson. They had a really good time together while school was on hold.

I don't know how far apart we are (I'm west of Philadelphia) but I noticed something similar this morning. Figured it was just the atmosphere

I just don't understand any friendship where misogyny isn't a dealbreaker. So either these men are misogynists themselves or it isn't really a "friendship," just some kind of parasitic relationship where they attach themselves to someone with higher status. Or both

I don't know. It's a mystery to me. 🤷‍♂️ The closest I could visualize is refraining from being openly hostile to a predator because they present a danger to you or others, or because you depend on a system that they are in charge of

I agree, after a decade of nothing shocking me anymore, that one actually made a dent.

Toward the end of my deconstruction, I started freezing my beliefs as "I hope that X, but I'm afraid that Y." (e.g. I hope that my package was shipped, but I'm afraid it got lost in the mail) I wasn't sure which one was my real belief
