Cress is highly adept in his roles, specializing in languages. Cress often pushes himself, to his detriment. Outwardly quiet, he’s driven by a personal mystery. After deciphering an ancient tablet, revealing how Carlos’s disappeared, Cress collapsed, exhausted, leaving the guild to piece together his discovery.

Firrin too, is adept in his roles. Outwardly carefree, he hides a more intense side of him. He & Cress received an invitation from Chatot to help explore Crystalfall Caverns. But the day after the expedition, the guild's top explorer vanished. He's currently out searching for the missing Sceptile.

Carlos is strong & confident, the guild’s top explorer! Imposing & self-assured, Carlos antagonizes outsiders. But beneath lies a caring Pokémon with unspoken feelings for his partner, Nobi. During an expedition, he ignored warnings, triggering an ancient curse, shrinking him down! Now diminished, he must find a way to get his friend's attention.

Nobi is energetic & driven. She's Carlos’s partner & the guild’s 2nd best explorer! Nobi follows Carlos’s lead: laughs at his jokes, joins in when he belittles others. But she has unspoken affection for Carlos. After he vanishes, her panic leads her to unfairly blame Cress. Once Cress collapses, she realizes her mistake & quietly thanks him for his efforts, revealing her gentler side.
