@banditelli.org on a recent trek I saw this nest off Pozo Rd, in the middle of nowhere. The opening was 3-4 feet wide and a few hundred feet in the air on the side of a cliff. Any ideas what might live there? Some type of Owl? I'd like to hear the #birds community chirp in. @daryllmarie.bsky.social

Happy to share our new paper is now published! 🎉

We developed a non-invasive method to model animal hearing using 3D photogrammetry and showed it on bats 🦇 and a pig. It even allowed us to capture the 3D mesh of an alive and awake bat and model its hearing! 🔉
