Traditionally drawn art card artwork - drawn with black liners, shaded with a hint of grey, showing tints of colour and sometimes golden accents. Invariant - an ice genasi rebron wiht shattered ice horns and slightly broken skin as well as an arm that's a replacement wrapped around exposed bones - is facing a shadow reaching out to them. The shadow, altough completely hidden in black colour, seems to be Invariant as well, recognizable by the horns. Their hands touch, it is implied that the shadow is still a veryion without the exposed bones, but equally held by chains like the present version in front of them. Present Invariant is gazing toward the touch, confused, eyebrows a bit narrowed, while their tail is wrapping around the back of the person in front of him. This is supposed to look like both versions are part of a mirror, the way they are facing each other. The tail breaks that illusion though, questioning if they are really that parted.

For today's #ArtAdventCalendar, here's a more stylized drawing I did this year. I liked the idea of a catfish being rooted into the mud by its barbels. Felt folkloric—the wise old catfish communing with the earth... (spell check does not think barbel is a word, but it is! 😂)

this year had many bangers but these two are my absolute favorites
"Regret" presents Beatrice, a character from the animated series Over the Garden Wall. Beatrice was cursed after throwing a rock at a bluebird: all her 12 relatives, as well as her, were transformed into bluebirds. The illustration shows us her transformation, looking in shock and crying as her right arm transforms into a bird's wing. She stands in front of a dark forest, the deep orange of autumn slowly being consumed by cyan and blue. Flying around her and into the forest we spot 12 bluebirds. The illustration also brings a foot frame, with four pumpkins and Enoch - another character, the ruler of Potsfield - in the center. toe-thrasher, a rat lord wearing a royal mantle made of white fur, thrashing in the middle of a swamp in its hind legs and holding a black flail. in the swamp, there are numerous yellow eyes

I love how after our last session, when I asked Mel to switch Tabris' labels, she immediately increased his danger, because "Boy, you can be quite dangerous to yourself and anyone around you when you lose control!"

Also my boy Gwydion with an INT of -1, using his partner Morpheus, who he keeps in his pocket as a sort of Tamagotchi (this makes a lot of sense in-game!) and who has a SLIGHTLY higher INT of 0, as a sort of telephone joker: "Hey nerd, so listen..."
