Pritzker described Trump’s first couple of months in office as “true villainous cruelty by a few idiots.”

All over my FB people talking about their bad experiences with shingles vax and dissuading each other from getting it! We need to give people real info on how to mitigate the symtoms caused by vaccines because vaccines are always better than meeting a virus unprepared. Yet drs aren't coaching ppl

i still cringe at how democrats ran away from obamacare in the 2010 cycle. and they still lost! imagine a universe where they ran on "we just made your lives better and the gop wants to bring back preexisting conditions. lets rumble"
There’s an alternate universe where Obamacare was popular almost immediately instead of being treated like a sword to fall on if Dems weren’t obsessed with apologizing for making government work better.
obamacare still winning, nearly 16 years on

More than that, his crew threatened to open fire on the murderers. He rescued civilians, returned to base to refuel, flew back, and rescued more civilians. Then he denounced the crimes to his HQ.

For all this he received death-threats throughout his life.

Follow up: it doesn’t say it’s illegal to fire on incapacitated shipwrecked. It just says it’s illegal to fire on the shipwrecked. Where’d you get “incapacitated” and why are you such an asshole?
Q: "The Pentagon's Law of War manual…says 'Orders to fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal.' Given that, how was that follow up strike on the two survivors legal?"

Tom Cotton: "They were not incapacitated… They were sitting or standing on top of a capsized boat."

As early as 1934, someone else had the same idea to rebuild the capital's airport, just in another country.

Hitler Rebuilt the Berlin's Airport into a Gate to the Capital of the World
Tempelhof Airport already had a terminal in 1927, but Hitler had grandiose plans for Germany. Berlin was to be the capital of the world, and the airport should be the gate to the city.

It is both deeply ironic and profoundly funny that all these overconfident maga chud dudebros are convinced they'll be at the top of a meritocratic system, when in reality they're actually the ones who've benefited most from what they themselves characterize as non-meritocratic factors.
Ending DEI practices in college admissions will expose an uncomfortable truth. Women now outperform men academically.

If universities stop trying to gender balance incoming classes but instead admit based on merit, they’ll reject men at higher rates than they do today.
Trump’s attack on DEI may hurt college men, particularly White men
The Trump administration’s ban on diversity, equity and inclusion also targets gender. The ban may impact gender balancing practices that often benefit college men.

41 minutes of watching two shipwrecked men trying to flip a boat and signaling for surrender/help before firing on them again reminds me of the 9.5 minutes Derek Chauvin knelt on George Floyd’s neck, in that it’s an agonizingly long time to be killing helpless people who clearly posed no threat.
