Species Spotlight: Wild Black Current (Ribes americanum)

Wild Black Currant is a species of shrub that has bell-shaped flower clusters that are white to yellow in colour, and leaves that are palmate, heart-shaped, coarsely toothed, and have 3-5 lobes.

C'était formidable d'assister à la conférence 2025 de l'ACR Alberta et de l'AIHC-CNC la semaine dernière. Jessica Lagroix et la Dre Cynthia McClain ont présenté ont partagé nos projets d'intégration des données sur les eaux souterraines à la plateforme.

Since 2022, HRM’s LakeWatchers have been monitoring 70+ lakes across Halifax Regional Municipality, an area roughly the size of PEI.

Now, the LakeWatchers data is available on Atlantic DataStream thanks to the Municipality’s open data leadership: datastream.org/en-ca/articl...

Lake Huron has the largest shoreline of all the Great Lakes, including 30,000 islands! That’s more than the Caribbean Sea.
