Russian forums report that plans for repairing the launchpad are in place:
"Site 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome has been ordered to be restored by Cosmonautics Day (2026).
This will prevent a tearful celebration.
UPDATE: Spare parts for repairs are already being delivered to Site 31."

Doing some background reading for one of my stories/talking about Pluribus led me to finding the old 60s short novel Solaris, about fundamentally incompatible communication with truly alien life.
