Planetside 2 because in hindsight the beta access wasn't worth it.
You did get a bit of premium currency but the in game store was expensive, then they brought in loot boxes.
There isn't anything like Planetside 2 that captures the scale and insanity of large PvP FPS combat like that game did.

i PREORDERED it. EARLY ADOPTER that paid full price
game went free to play and they locked a bunch of stuff behind microtransaction pay walls and all i got was like $5 equivalent of their premium currency for it 1/2
