I wasn't really progressing. With quest item rewards being a coin flip between instant upgrade or complete garbage with no in between there was no sense of reward and payoff comparatively to the rest of the game when I was at least getting experience to level up

Like bare minimum at the very least I would have preferred if they just tuned the leveling speed to be slower although I understand why they didn't cuz it already feels horrendously slow at times. But I hit level 12 almost immediately after starting act 3 and it quickly started to feel like-

Like I understand to a degree they're rationale. From what I've heard they've basically said that they did that in part because abilities classes get after that got increasingly difficult to balance properly and I can respect that argument to an extent. Still feels like there were other options tho

Not super jazzed that baldur's gate 3 maxes out at level 12 when I wasn't even trying to but I hit that pretty much with like a quarter of the game still to go at least

At that point it felt like I was hardly progressing cuz half the gear I find after that is garbage
