#lufc Here we go then. Forest was huge but arguably where we are after the next three games defines our season. Would love to see us roll Chelsea over again but they’re on decent form. We have big players coming back though so room for optimism.

#lufc So we got a loan in - arguably in a position we didn’t need to fill. Time will tell if it’s a risk I guess but January always quiet for us it seems!

#lufc Not saying it would have changed the result but I do think Bijol and Nmecha are big players for us. Bijol not only for his defensive qualities in a three but his forward passing is much more incisive than the other two. Nmecha because we have to start with two up front (even tho DF disagrees).

#lufc Eight defensive players in that starting line up today. I don’t get it. Picking Gruev over Longstaff. No Barn Owl when they are massive. Reverting to DCL on his own up top. Where’s the support for him? Flat, no intensity. Hopefully Nmecha back for Friday.

#lufc Would have played Barn Owl today centrally. Also real danger that DCL ends up isolated again. Shame about Nmecha but underlines need for another big lad up front.

#lufc I really rate GG but people saying we lose a lot going forward in his absence. I don’t recall an assist though and JJ has scored twice in three games!

#lufc Not really clear why Strand Larsen is a great addition at 40 mil but a waste of money at 50. It’s not my money and relegation will cost us a lot more. We will end this window with one loan player (who Farke probably won’t play) which again is a combination of arrogance and stupidity by t’board

#lufc Last night’s second half inertia proves once again that we have a team playing top ten standard football held back by a bottom three manager. Farke’s timid, passive approach away from home is costing us more and more points. Assuming we stay up, we need an upgrade.

#lufc I keep seeing the justification for Farke’s inaction last night that we’re working on the basis of one point per game. That’s completely wrongheaded, each game must be played on its merits. Everton we’re there for the taking last night and the crowd had turned on them yet…

#lufc There needs to be a conversation about Okafor. The bloke’s a cart horse. Yet Farke opts for him every single time over Gnonto. Can only assume he wants WG out of the club.

#lufc No doubt the Farke lovers will disagree but that was another appalling demonstration of in-game management. He just doesn’t react to tactical changes. He started the formation the team was bought for about 10 games too late and he’s even stopped playing two upfront. Get him gone.
