We are the wealthiest country in the world. Yet instead of doing anything to make life affordable for millions of Americans, Trump is raising health care costs and spending US taxpayer dollars to “run” Venezuela.

We’re roughly one year into the Trump administration, and health care costs are rising, the cost of living is increasing, and corruption is rampant. That’s not governing. That’s making life harder for working families.

The invasion of Venezuela isn’t just 100% illegal, it’s also 100% stupid. This is a country of 30 million people. Occupying and running this country will cost us trillions at a time when too many people are already struggling to pay the bills.

The epidemic of gun violence in this country is unacceptable and cannot be normalized. I’m thankful to have the endorsement of Stop Gun Violence. Together, I am hopeful we can make progress towards eliminating gun violence in this country.

Trump may not literally be stealing Christmas this year, but he might as well be, as his economic policies have massively raised the costs of the gifts we give and the food we put on our table, all so billionaires can buy more yachts. His heart is indeed two sizes too small.
