@nickstapleton.tv Hope not a problem but on some scam calls (mostly the ones from ‘O2’), when they tell me they’ve sent a code I hang up. They then call back and I tell them I hung up ‘cos I’d had a message from BBC’s Scam Interceptors and you were monitoring their call centre. Wrong thing to do?

@nickstapleton.tv another interesting piece on Morning Live this morning, I keep getting those calls from ‘O2’ even though I’m no longer a customer of theirs. Should I contact them and tell them to completely remove my account?

@nickstapleton.tv Hi Nick, the company I work for has just received an email from ‘[email protected]’ about a meter replacement appointment. We know it’s a scam but they’re asking for an image of the meter, showing KWh and copy of recent bill. What are they hoping to achieve?

@nickstapleton.tv Hi Nick, just a quick query, I got a call from ‘O2’ last week (not with them but used to be). Got out through to ‘supervisor’ who sent me the code on SMS with usual caveats about the warning not singing to them. Accused them of being scammers (the point where they usually hang up)

@nickstapleton.tv Hi Nick, so sorry to hear your sad news. Your dad will always be remembered as an incredibly talented presenter and journalist. I will always remember him from the TV shows he presented in the 80’s, that I watched while off school due to teachers’ strikes or between my GCSE exams.

@nickstapleton.tv Hi Nick, so sorry to hear your sad news. Your dad will always be remembered as an incredibly talented presenter and journalist. I will always remember him from the TV shows he presented in the 80’s, that I watched while off school due to teachers’ strikes or between my GCSE exams.
@nickstapleton.tv Hi Nick, I’ve been getting loads of calls, recorded messages saying to add the number on WhatsApp. I know it’s a scam and from what I’ve read they’re trying to get at my WhatsApp profile pic. The question is this: are we all better off not using ourselves on our profile pics?

I get the idea, they talk about it a lot to do with schools when there’s a threat in the grounds, but to me it makes no sense based on the meaning of the word vacuate.

@nickstapleton.tv Hi Nick, another very informative piece on Morning Live this morning. I don’t know if you can help but received a flyer through the door last week and have contacted BBC Look North on X and on email but they haven’t replied - is the attached genuine? Have they appeared positively?
