Fun fact: Jason Robertson still has yet use all of his PDO mana. His 13.54 shooting percentage is still below his career average (15 percent), and if we're splitting hairs, his goal total is technically under his expected goal total amount (13.59).

Postgame quicktake: The Dallas Stars will pass the Thanksgiving cutoff test, which is good. It's all the small tests needed to be aced (not playing from behind, and generating offense at EV, for example) for a successful final exam that has me slightly concerned.

Dallas has a league-leading four wins when down by two goals. If they make it five, it would in keeping with their current run. (It is worth noting that the four teams below them are Anaheim, Vancouver, Toronto, and Philadelphia.)

Based on where they have Sam Steel now, it feels like Dallas is officially rolling with Jamie Benn on that top unit with Wyatt Johnston and Mikko Rantanen.

Dallas' penalty kill is obviously struggling (24th on the PK). However, they're 18th in expected goals against per 60 on the PK, suggesting they deserve a better fate given the shot quality diff/. The difference between both is still bad but they haven't earned ALL those bounces.

This percentage is wild and driven by Calgary being much better play drivers then they look. They just can't convert their shots. This game could easily look more competitive then you'd think, but Dallas doesn't need much to break it open: Rantanen or Robertson. Take your pick.
