It is likely that that won’t end well.

I’m surprised someone could lift it. The makeup kit alone must weigh 50 pounds.

Only in San Diego, would the police protecting our March congratulate us at the end, tell us that we did a great job and that they would be ready to help next time. Thank you to the officers who protected our right to peaceful protest @50501movement.bsky.social @sdpd.bsky.social @maddow.msnbc.com

A plea.

Can we stop declaring this a “constitutional crisis?”

It’s bigger.

It’s a crisis about fundamental American ideals and structures.

“Constitutional crisis” makes it sound like an abstract lawyerly crisis

It’s bigger.

MAGA is the cult of Trump. Without Trump it will collapse. FWIW, Trump’s ego and narcissism will make sure that happens.

LOL. Are these the same Europeans who want encryption back doors and want Apple to notify them of code updates that could render their zero day exploits unusable?

FWIW: these people need this equipment continuously, not just while in the US. The reach of this spyware is global.

Pump and dump
April 10, 2025 at 3:23 AM
I think it is called “pump and dump.” It is illegal but who is going to call them on it.

He can’t even do it right. No spread fingers and arm angle a bit lower. Sort of like how fElon did his.

Makes me remember a bumper sticker from the 70s. It said “Jesus is coming again—and boy is he pissed.”

Well then, it looks like we have been cheating since 2015 and the right can’t find it or get a conviction.

God damn we’re good.😊

In the wake of Trump's "Liberation Day," one of the Big Three automakers in the U.S. has announced it would be laying off hundreds of American workers.

That's one form of liberation.
Trump’s Extreme Tariffs Are Already Wrecking the Auto Industry
Donald Trump’s commerce secretary, meanwhile, promised that employment would go up as a result of the tariffs.

I found a website with the exact issue I remember seeing as a kid—what must have been 60 years ago. It is the third one down on the page below (women with blowtorch). I had not thought about the Noem video in relation to this stuff until I saw this thread. Wow!

Yes, yes, yes. That is exactly the crap I was remembering. I remember seeing these mags as a kid on the shelves of a newsstand in San Diego, CA. I was maybe 10 then WW2 was only “15 years ago.” I’ll take a look at that wiki. Thanks.

What you are saying brings to mind the strange magazines I used to see on newsstands in the 50s.

A typical cover would feature a scene with US some soldiers, tied up and restrained—being tortured by a cute chick in a NAZI uniform.

I never understood these and wondered who bought them.

Reminder: the First Amendment protects everyone who resides in our country. It doesn't matter if you have a green card or a visa or if you're undocumented. The Supreme Court has repeatedly affirmed that any person residing in the United States, regardless of status, is entitled to 1A protections.
