Den gode historie, fængende overskrift og skarpe vinkel behøver måske ikke være et ja/nej-resultat, men kan også være historien bag forskningen, nuancer ved metoden, den større sammenhæng og meget andet (alt det, som gør det sjovt for os forskere, når vi går i dybden med vores felt).

- Kontekst: Hvordan står resultatet ift. gældende teori? Og anden forskning?
- Interessekonflikter: Finansieret af part med interesse i bestemt resultat?
- Perspektiv: Kan studiet kombineret med hidtidige viden begrunde ændret praksis - eller hvordan kommer vi videre med yderligere forskning?

- Emne: Mennesker eller celler/dyr?
- Design: Lodtrækningsforsøg eller observationelt studie, fx registerforskning?
- Analyse: Planlagt hovedanalyse eller udforskende ekstraanalyse?

Funders expect evidence of 'promise' (the intervention is likely to work) when considering whether to fund an RCT, pilot, or feasibility study. But there is no shared understanding of how we should do this. We have been funded by @nihr.bsky.social to develop guidance to help.
