Top class work these guys are doing. Video is a great guide on how to tackle rhododendron.
Nice video here on the initiative. This is a significant swamp forest restoration project that hopefully will recover quickly. The challenge for the next few years will be to do the follow up work to ensure eradication of rhododendron.

Israel digs itself into a deeper hole
Israel has just arrested Greta Thunberg and many others.

Statement from the Global Sumud Flotilla:

“People of conscience have been abducted. The flotilla broke no laws. What is illegal is Israel’s genocide, Israel’s illegal blockade of Gaza, and Israel’s use of starvation as a weapon.”

Close to 65k watching the livefeed from the Global Sumud Flotilla off the coast of Gaza.

Israel seems to be intercepting right now.

Why does the COP30 logo look like one for a petrol company?

Something that could be done in Irish uplands as well...
So what did our uplands look like? Was it upland wood pasture with scattered trees and flower rich meadows? Did farmers used to mix trees, grassland and hay meadows? Can we recreate this habitat e.g. in Yorkshire Dales? youtu.be/YiK0mKLUzTU?...
