Flyer for the Sensor Ghost, Clenchers, and Radon Abatement show on March 14. It will be a good one. Don't make Nancy more mad than she is and just go, ok?

As a reminder, this show is coming up in about a month. Another chance to see @averysafecat.bsky.social, @joshkrahn.bsky.social, Erin O and I play music together of course, but much more than that. Sensor Ghost rules and I am excited to see Clenchers live for the first time. Good people, good music.
Next show at Visible Records in Charlottesville will be w/ the very cool, very unique Sensor Ghost outta DC (their last record on Dischord, Irritation on Demand, is great). Also joining will be no-wave-y skronkers Clenchers outta Richmond & Radon Abatement. Should be a good time. Saturday, March 14.

Really excited to announce an interactive website for my As Time Draws Near story, done by Nick Violi. Nick has seamlessly put together my music with the words as you scroll. We’re offering this for free, but encourage you to donate to MSMA (Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid).

essay i mentioned previously on how independent music gives you the basic tools for organizing even if you didn’t realize you were building those skills, and how great it’s been to watch people hit the ground running
TODAY: @supremenothing.myatproto.social shares the good news from indie music: "People from all over, regardless of scene or genre, are really showing up. This isn’t just a punk thing; this isn’t about protest songs, or music that’s always been explicitly political." flaminghydra.com/issue-497/?a...

It’s Bandcamp Friday, and my label released this album by the late, much-missed pedal-steel player Susan Alcorn and the Philly duo Nomad War Machine, and if you’re in the market for volcanic improvisation, I recommend it.

Also it is always a good time to support @danielbachman.bsky.social, but in particular he has a new record out that is a very textured cool set of drones. Daniel has been putting in a ton of work and it is a treat to follow along. Check it out: danielbachman.bandcamp.com/album/revolu...

An event happening tonight (2/6) in Charlottesville is this @teenbeat.bsky.social art/design show opening at Infinite Repeats! This should be very cool as of course Teenbeat Records has always had a singular and cool design bent to go along with the music. Should be a good time with good folks.

Generally deleting more posts than I leave up these days. Learning? Getting over my shit? Being boring? Who knows, but for now it is the thing I land on. Just deleted another one and now am posting about it lol.

New record! It's been five years since I recorded Music for Four Guitars and it's time for a new jam — proud to present the latest four guitars LP, "Music in Continuous Motion," up for preorder today and shipping next month.

Unfortunately this show is being postponed due to the potential weather complications coming our way. It is the right thing to do but also a bummer as I was looking forward to this. Hopefully it will get moved to a new date down the line.
Excellent show coming up this Saturday at Infinite Repeats in Charlottesville! Two members of Flin Flon are playing, which is exciting on its own, but of course Mark Robinson is known for much more than that (Unrest and Teenbeat Records for a couple). It will be an excellent night all around!

My stupid thought of the day for those interested is that I have not called seeing live music a "concert" in years I don't think unless I am talking to someone like my parents. The word "concert" is fine it just occurred to me that I don't think of my music watching as concerts any more.

Jennifer is a cool & dedicated writer who's kept a flame alive for music that does not simply make its way to the world via PR teams & hype cycles. Dusted has meant a lot to me over the years it's been rolling out reviews, but of course she writes elsewhere too. Good cause to help if you are able.

Pretty amazing line-up for this festival if you are around that way. My partner Erin is playing this with Outer World on Sunday, but every night has great stuff going on (Pylon Reenactment Society being an extremely good case in point).
