I think we have too many guns in this country.
I have read the 2nd Amendment many times.
I do not think I have ever agreed with the NRA.

Until today.

I agree with the NRA. There, I said it.

All those people downtown yesterday, no ICE involvement, and not one incident. ICE shows up in a neighborhood and now another Minnesotan is dead. It's pretty obvious who the violent outside agitators are.

Stop the inhumanity.
Stop ICE.
But I repeat myself.
"Like many other blue states, Minnesota pays more to the federal government than it takes in. But why should the state continue to subsidize a government bent on destroying it? What if it just…didn’t?"

A big question from @snipy.bsky.social in @atrupar.com's PN:

What if we just stopped paying taxes?
Where there's a will there (might) be a way.

Great article discussing:
1) The difficulty of organizing a general strike
2) How we do it, with links to other orgs

We need to start organizing locally now.
What’s it going to take to get to mass strikes?
General strikes can have a tremendous impact, but they require an organized majority, solidarity and resources to weather repression.
