I'm going to be that annoying guy and post those charts all season as I think they're really good at summarizing games, so if you don't know how to read them and you're interested in learning, here's a quick guide. There's a lot of lines that might seem random but serve a really useful purpose.

3-2 #Flyers lose. They actually ended up catching up in xG by the end at 5v5, mostly thanks for to the Zegras/Dvo/TK line. Ersson with a 0.05 GSAx, so about even.

Couturier and Tippett were obviously instrumental on that goal, but I noticed Michkov has been getting more involved without the puck by slowing attacking lanes with his body positioning. Did the same on the defensive breakout his next shift. Nice little detail

Through 25 games, here are the Flyers leaders in Evolving Hockey's WAR model. These are the rankings at the top of their charts. Foerster's injury really is coming at a time when he's rounding into an amazing player. Michkov at one point was near the bottom of this chart, now 5th.

Michkov currently has 14 points in 24 games, a 48 point pace. If he wants to reach his last season total, he'll need to produce at a 0.84 PPG pace the rest of the way. He had a 0.64 PPG in November, but a 0.8 PPG pace the last two weeks. Going to be tight, but it's possible.

Wild one in Jersey. The 10-14-39 line completely crushed. Had to expand the SD bounds to like 5.5 to even get them to show up. If you went by xGF%, Michkov & Co. had *only* had a 95% rate (obviously absurd), but also had a ~1.5 xG±, which is just comical. +14 C± as well. Great game.

I didn't get to watch the game but apparently the Flyers played Drysdale with Andrae a lot tonight and it looks like they had a great game. 56% xGF% (0.61 to 0.47) and 2 Real Goals For. Fun.
