Just found out that the building across from my house was designed by Alfred Waterhouse and was owned and lived in by Thomas Hodgkin for 30 years. It then became the Royal Victoria School for the Blind for 90 years.
Now it is a terrible hotel, what a shame.

Growing up with a sister who has a learning disability, I’ve seen people shout the R word at her. That was in the 80s and 90s. Now we’re in the 2020s and I am seeing world leaders and tech leaders use it and I cannot begin to tell you how devastating that is.

I have a reasonably nice Tanglewood acoustic guitar with a built in tuner and what I think is a bridge pickup. On its own the guitar sounds pretty nice to my ear but when plugged in I find the high strings sound a bit off.
Would something like the Fishman Neo-D @ £45 make much difference?
