Feb 12 Scripture
Solomon began extremely well but he lost God's favor (1 kgs 11:4-13) because of his infidelity to the Covenant. As a result, the kingdom was divided into two. Sin and evil are not merely private choices. Even our most private sins affect our families, our church, and our community.

A few weeks ago I was at a mass in our cathedral and the Cardinal burst out speaking in Spanish.

I hope no one was offended.

Perhaps Ms. Leavitt should consider resigning from her fake job.

What an outstanding use of the power to pardon.

Happy New Year!!

You made yourself like us,
— in your mercy grant that we may become more like you.
Son of the Virgin Mary, have mercy on us.

I have to say, with all my feeble attempts at ministry, and active love, and service, I still really like getting gifts.
If you follow me on here, you may want unfollow me.

Florida Bishops: Can you suspend your enforcement of rounding up, locking up and deporting families you have deemed unwanted for the celebration of the birth of Jesus? You see the irony here right?

Washington: Hahahaha. No. Shut up.

Merry Christmas! As we celebrate the incarnation of Christ, let us earnestly search for Him in the eyes and hearts of every brother and sister we meet on our journey.

Let us always open our hearts and our homes to Jesus.

Merry Christmas!

Waiting to get my haircut and really hearing a different side of Christmas. The side where people are not looking forward to getting together with family. The side where some are planning getaways: Aruba, Disney.
No one is mentioning the real reason for the season.
Ministry never stops.

It might be nice if we spent more time feeding the hungry & less time killing peoples in international waters. Perhaps more time healing the sick and less time cutting off the funding for healing the sick. Work for economic justice, not gotcha trade wars that only hurt the most vulnerable.
Grow up.

The delivery guys are working their asses off. Let’s be kind to them. Be generous in our tips.

The President has no legal authority to legislate AI regulation. Perhaps the NYT could put its crack reporters on this usurpation of constitutional congressional authority rather than buying into this apparent silicone valley takeover.

Do I have to fix everything?

As we prepare ourselves for the coming of Jesus into our lives, let us pray for a change of heart for those who think killing, rather than making the effort to properly prosecute perceived lawbreakers is ok
Please don’t respond that liberal judges will just release them. That’s woefully ignorant.

But Patrick you’re making sense. You’re using words to express rational thoughts. Don’t you see that that kind of thinking has been abandoned?
