I had a truly amazing GenCon, despite only playing one game. I think what I needed out of this convention was just to be around beautiful people that remind me why I play games.

Thank you all for being amazing.
This is a stylish black and white photograph of a person standing with their arms crossed, looking off to the side with a thoughtful expression.

The person has dark, medium-length hair and is wearing glasses. Their outfit consists of a dark, sleeveless t-shirt (a muscle tee) adorned with several small pins, and dark-wash jeans. Tattoos are visible on both of their upper arms.

They are accessorized with a chain necklace holding a circular pendant and a distinctive round, dark pouch with a white graphic design hanging from their belt loop.

The photograph is composed with blurred elements in the foreground, which creates a sense of depth and frames the subject in a candid, observational style. The black and white format enhances the focus on texture and light, contributing to the cool, contemplative mood of the image. This is a lively and joyful photograph of a woman, who appears to be a vendor at a market or convention, sharing a laugh with someone.

She has a wonderfully expressive face, lit up with a wide, open-mouthed smile. Her unique and colorful style is prominent: she has blue and purple hair adorned with a headband of purple fabric flowers and light purple, iridescent horns. She wears black cat-eye glasses, which have decorative chains with dice-shaped charms, and her makeup includes bold black lipstick.

She is situated behind a table filled with clear display trays containing small, colorful dice that she is selling. An overhead lamp illuminates her and her wares. The back of a customer is visible in the foreground, indicating a warm and positive interaction. The image beautifully captures a moment of genuine happiness and connection in a creative, social setting. This is a striking black and white profile portrait of a man cosplaying as Able the Table from the game "Date Everything."

The man has a dark beard and mustache and is looking thoughtfully off to the right. He is wearing his distinctive wide-brimmed hat, which is uniquely adorned with a small platform holding white teacups.

His costume consists of a jacket with a prominent wood-grain texture worn over a plaid button-down shirt. The black and white format of the photograph emphasizes the rich textures of his attire and beard, lending a classic and dramatic quality to the image. The tight, profile composition creates an artistic and contemplative portrait, focusing on the character he is portraying. This is a candid photograph of a young person with striking light-blue eyes, captured while talking on their phone.

They have a distinctive two-toned hairstyle, with dark hair on top and bleached blonde hair underneath and at the sideburns. They are wearing a mustache and a small soul patch. Their personal style is accented with jewelry, including a silver nose ring, a hoop earring, a large, ornate silver ring on their finger, and multiple necklaces, one of which features a prominent blue and white "evil eye" pendant.

The person is dressed in a dark grey button-down shirt worn open over a black ribbed tank top. Around their neck are two colorful lanyards, similar to those seen at conventions, which appear to be for the "Gen Con" event.

The photo is a close-up, focusing on the individual's expressive face as they engage in their conversation. The background is softly blurred, indicating the photographer's focus on this single, in-the-moment slice of life.

My top listened podcasts are about a 75/25 split between Actual Play podcasts and shows that are ABOUT ttrpgs and actual play in some way so these are my top recommendations right now (only including the ones I am not contributing to, because I also listen to all of those lol):
the logo for city of the black rose herald of shadows, features a dark city street with street lamps and vague fantasy figures. logo for out lives in the woods, features the letters splayed out as if cut from a magazine, against a page within a typewriter logo for the heart is a dungeon's know gods, no afters, features the illustrations of various fantastical gods, a cloaked dark figure, giant hands, a spirit like wolf, a misty, childlike figure. the logo for my first dungeon's slugblaster, featuring an illustration of a brightly colored fantasy world with cartoon style teenagers skateboarding amidst alien dino monsters.

This is a close-up portrait of a woman with vibrant, hot pink hair, looking directly at the viewer with a slight smile. She has light-colored eyes and a nose piercing on her right nostril. Her left hand is propped under her chin, and she is wearing two rings on her left hand.

Both of her forearms are heavily tattooed with intricate designs in black and gray, with some hints of red and yellow on her right arm. The tattoos on her left arm appear to be a solid black sleeve with a moon and some lighter patterns emerging, while her right arm has more detailed, illustrative designs including what looks like a floral pattern. She is wearing a light-colored top, possibly beige or off-white. The background is blurred, suggesting a shallow depth of field, which keeps the focus entirely on the woman. The lighting is soft, highlighting her features and hair color.
