Labeling gender-affirming care as “abuse” is dangerous, misleading and undermines the dignity and rights of our youth to be their true selves.
deafqueer.bsky.social
Gender-affirming care is NOT child abuse. It is a vital, evidence-based approach that empowers transgender and gender-diverse youth to live authentic, healthy lives. Gender-affirming care saves lives and reduces risks of depression, anxiety, and self-harm.
deafqueer.bsky.social
Shameful. The Trump Administration is now equating gender-affirming care with "child abuse" and seeks to punish those who provide critical, life-saving support and services to our trans and gender diverse youth.
