I caught a few minutes of the Macy’s T-Day parade. Foreigner was singing “Cold as Ice.” Couldn’t help but wonder if it was a political statement. The lyrics are pretty accurate.

The shooting of National Guard troops in DC is horrible. But it should not be used to paint all Afghan immigrants with the same brush stroke.
Until we know more about the shooter, it’s a waste of time to speculate about motives.

Now I wonder how the signage has changed or will change with trump in the White House. How can you talk about the history without saying things that could make white people feel shame?
