Cal said it. The season is a failure. Only team to not make world series. Our only memorable play as a team is a fucking double to win a game to go to the ALCS. All other teams at least have the final out to go to a world series for a memorable play to hold on to

I keep seeing people say that the Mariners had their most successful season, and no they freaking did not.
Get to a World Series and you can say you're better than a team that won 116 games. Almost getting to a World Series but winning 26 fewer games is not better. Recency bias is an asshole.
