I don't know why I find that so interesting. Is it interesting? You can tell me if it's not interesting.

I'd really love to tell you Sarah. But I'm not really sure. I know it's good. But I don't quite understand it.

I don't know if this is worth posting and certainly questionable to post it at 1:48.

I was thinking about how winning three out of five in an LDS is such a nail biter, but if you do that over an entire regular season, you win 96 games at least. Only one team won more games than that this year.

I'm still kind of in shock. Not sure it will really hit me until Sunday. Crazy. Crazy crazy crazy.

*reading a post that’s just a man’s name with no other context* ah this must be about baseball

You know, it's a good question. Maybe you go with an opener and have Castillo throw three innings or four innings or whatever.
crawfordchrisv.bsky.social
And to be clear, I'm not criticizing anyone for those feelings. The Mariners needs a bat and Castillo was the "expendable" of the arms.

Polanco was atrocious in 2024.

But they are screwed without both. Screwed. And it's neat that both are heroes in Seattle now. Forever.

The winning pitcher was someone so many fans thought they should trade.

The guy who got the game-winning hit was someone so many fans were furious they brought back.

Baseball offers redemption arcs. And sometimes -- not all the time, but sometimes -- they pay off. It's a heck of a sport.

It just seems unlikely after Woo threw a bullpen today.
crawfordchrisv.bsky.social
I really don't like it, either. Split, 2-of-3, split and you win the series as the road team. Seems kinda unfair.
crawfordchrisv.bsky.social
Let's also keep in mind that Castillo only threw 15 pitches on full rest. It would not be malpractice to pitch him in Game 2. Game 1? Probably asking too much. Game 2? I'm fine with it.

It kinda sounds like Miller might get the nod on three days rest for one time through the rotation? But uhh, seems weird.
crawfordchrisv.bsky.social
Just seems hard to imagine Woo starts two days after a bullpen? But, could be! I am guessing it's Bryce Miller one time through the lineup.
crawfordchrisv.bsky.social
Game 2 might be rough too if Woo isn't ready, but it would set you up for Gilbert-Kirby-Castillo at home, and that's not the worst thing to ever happen.
crawfordchrisv.bsky.social
Thank GOD this is a best of seven series coming up. Because, like, you can't throw the game away? But you'd be in a world of hurt if this was a five-gamer considering how poor your options are for Game 1.

Evans was able to pitch in the final game of the year or one of the final games of the year, anyway. I imagine it'll just be a straight bullpen game in Game 1 and hopefully you can have Woo for Game 2.

My life sucks ass. When I get things that don't suck ass, it makes you REALLY appreciate it. And I'm very appreciative that I get to keep watching this baseball team. For me, and #forgrandma.

My son has not run that fast since he was at Lakewood HS.

Here comes the funniest sac bunt in the history of baseball.

If you REALLY think about it, change-ups are lies. That's why the Mariners only throw sliders. Because they believe in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Tommy Kahnle has told me he is going to throw nothing but fastballs just to be sneaky.
