Liebe dt.

#IchBinHanna
An die deutsche Wissenschaft: (k)ein Liebesbrief
Liebe deutsche Wissenschaft, wir müssen reden.

The true tyrant lizard queen!
Who knows what my role will be in the end. I had some amazing ideas for the volume.. but let’s say it’s complicated with me. But it should not be an obstacle, rather a challenge! So feel free to endorse, share and comment on the idea. Thank you for the attention (8/8)
If you can’t donate or don’t want to - do not worry! We hope for your shared words more and the excitement the work might generate. While they indeed are well researched, Diplodocoids, including my beloved Diplodocids, have so much more to offer (7/x)
Most important to me would be actually the use of our stuff in open sources like Wikipedia - it’s whether we like it or not the most used archive of knowledge and some articles need large rework where we can provide the foundation (6/x)
More papers are in the pipeline by the awesome members of the little project and we want to
Comission paleoartists if we can get over the goal. I for one have some fun ideas and I love the idea to provide information and Paleoart for everyone
One is the description of the diplodocine Ardetosaurus viator, the second one is a summary on our current knowledge on diplodocoids, where I had the honor to write the ontogeny and ecology part - but I want to contribute more to this special
Idea indeed (lost track lol/x)
Although it is free to publish in PE technically, the amount of money you see in the link is used to support the editors and journal, as their finances only allow a limited
amount of publications. Actually we got already two papers published for the volume
already (3/x)
The folks showed a variety of topics, but agreed that this would fit a special volume quiet well. The biggest condition established was
Open Access (which I am a fan of) - so it took some time and we settled with Paleontologica Electronica for the idea (2/x)
Two years ago, we came up with the idea to create a special volume on diplodocoids because we all would work with the same phylogenetic dataset (Tschopp et al. - or more recent Mannion et al.) and had a very nice virtual meeting with all interested folks (1/x)
One small detail is actually that the claws on the hand also show size variations - so theoretically you could determine which finger you are looking at

With great pleasure I would like to introduce you to the first ornithomimosaur from Germany!
The fossils of this charming bugger are from Balve, a locality that preserves early Cretaceous fossils in a Devonian reef that had karstified already back then, giving us: cave dinosaurs
Thank you for the Post! You were often in our minds since the arctometatarsal was basically what solved the riddle
So.. Pepsi Deinocheirus?😂
Would be fascinating to see! But the person must fit to the suit
Rude of me for the self advertisement, but everything in the news has guns, violence and weird tastes

Very excited to present the first ornithomimosaurs from Early Cretaceous of Germany. Artwork by @joschuaknuppe.bsky.social and the paper is OA:

I was yesterday in a small dinosaur park in western Germany and they randomly have models and exhibition stuff for "the future is wild".
