In December, China had a trade surplus of $23.25 billion with the US. However, Trump threatened Canada with 100% tariffs if they deal with China. This seems puzzling, as it seems more about a speech Carney delivered than actual trade deals. Trump seems more focused on him looking bad than trade. 🔄
