Just in case you were wondering, Electronic Gaming Monthly's top-scoring "Black" games are Pokémon: Black & White (9.5), Bassin' Black Bass (9.3) and Call of Duty: Black Ops (9).

The top-scoring "Friday" game? Friday the 13th (3.25).

Lately, I have been putting all of my character stats in luck and hoping for the best. I feel like that strategy has finally paid off.

Today's Nintendo Classics update brings the total 2025 releases up to 37. This is week 48, so they have a LOT of ground to make up if they want to hit that one-game-a-week average they were at the last few years.

348 days later, Nintendo broke the Nintendo Entertainment System dry spell on the Nintendo Switch Online (aka Nintendo Classics). Congrats??

Checking out QuByte's newest racing collection -- Street Racer Collection. Now, I know what you're thinking: "Isn't there only one Street Racer game?" Yes, but there are four versions of that game in the package, which I guess technically qualifies it as a collection.

And I know what you're going to say: "But the 2025 games are better than 2024, right?" WRONG!! At least when it comes to the review average. The overall average for 2025 is 76%, the lowest score since the NSO started in 2018 (which also averaged 76%).

As you can see from the chart, Nintendo basically took their foot off the pedal right after the Switch 2 came out. There were months when we got 5 and 6 games, whereas now we're lucky to get 1.

Nintendo is currently at 33 games added to Nintendo Classics in 2025. They were at 49 games at this point in 2024, and 52 in 2023. There are definitely some systems they are leaving behind.

GameCube: 21 days
SNES: 42 days
GBA: 63 days
N64: 78 days
Game Boy: 182 days
Genesis: 224 days
NES: 343 days

I worried that when Nintendo added the GameCube to the Nintendo Classics app, the unfortunate side effect would be fewer SNES, Genesis, Game Boy and N64 games added to the service.

What I didn't expect was that Nintendo would quickly forget about the GameCube and just ignore the app completely.

Finally getting around to playing Desert Race Adventures, and I really do love the concept. It's basically a rally racing game where you control everything BUT the racing. It reminds me a lot of Oregon Trail, only with a lot more rally racing.

Now that Epic has added the Monorail song, this Simpsons season is the closest we're ever going to get to having Citizen Kane in Fortnite.

It has been 336 days since a Nintendo Entertainment System game was added to the Nintendo Classics app. There have been no NES games released on the NSO in 2025.

"Almost Free"? Even at 71% off, the price is still $750. Don't get me wrong, that may be a good deal for this computer, but in what world is $750 considered "almost free"???

Just saw this air hockey clip on YouTube and what kind of monster holds their mallet like that?!? That's barely a grip. Half of their fingers are vulnerable to getting smacked by the puck. MADNESS!!
