I understand entirely given what I know of how carefully you think through various considerations in proceeding to a winning word why it probably would be impossible for you to ignore moves the bot makes that don't make any sense. And, I look forward to your insights on this when they come.

I have the same complaint via a different path. According to my 'rules' my 2nd try word should have prevailed. Nonetheless, we beat the bot & the NYT average, so kudos to these us crankypants! Not sure it's worth your while to try to divine the bot's reasoning. Wordle 1,575 3/6

I'm sure you are right that the same 'informed' intuition is at work. The speed element is that whereas you are much more thoughtful in generating a set of possibilities for your LV to weigh in on, when Speed Whimsy beckons I just take flying leaps start to finish. So, over & done in 90 sec or so.
