Daily DBZ 149-2. While Grandpa Brief handles babysitting duty, Bulma has finally finished analyzing No. 17’s blueprints and built a handy little shutdown remote. Now all they gotta do is get it on over to where the fight is happening and deactivate the Androids before Cell shows up!

Bulma turns from her computer desk holding up a little remote with an antenna on it. Yajirobe stands around eating dumplings, while Dr. Brief makes a silly face at baby Trunks in his arms. Trunks is throwing a fit.

Daily DBZ 149. Android 17 and Piccolo continue to battle and destroy the islands around the Kame House, setting off volcanic eruptions. Hey Piccolo, maybe cool it? Its starting to look a little Namek-y around here, huh?

Piccolo fires a massive beam from his hands, Android 17 flies up from below blocking the beam with his hand. Behind them, a volcano erupts in smoke.

Daily DBZ 148-2. Since Piccolo couldn’t possibly explain what’s going on, its only a matter of time before Cell detects his rising ki with no apparent opponent and figures he must be fighting the Androids. Delighted, Cell zips off to find them and absorb 17 and 18 to attain his perfect form.

Daily DBZ 148. The Androids pull up at the Kame House looking for Goku. Luckily everyone is having a big group hang so Piccolo steps up to take this one. No. 17 decides to beat Goku's whereabouts out of him, but Piccolo's new power proves to be more than a match and they trash a nearby island.

Piccolo and Android 17 fight over the ocean causing huge splashes and a rainbow. Nearby, Android 18 watches while sitting on a rock and Android 16 studies some birds that have landed on his shoulder and finger.

Daily DBZ 147-2. To advance past the Super Saiyan limits, Goku gathers Gohan, Vegeta, and Trunks at Kami's Lookout for a joint father-son training vacation in the Room of Space and Time where they can go 2-at-a-time training for a whole year in just one day. Of course Vegeta and Trunks go first.

Mr. Popo shows Vegeta and Trunks into the Room of Space and Time, Trunks looks shocked at what he finds inside. Vegeta crosses his arms and scowls at Goku who smirks at Gohan.

Daily DBZ 147. The Androids pull up at Goku's house, but nobody's home. After trashing the place, No. 18 raids Chi-Chi's closet. Its not really her style, but she cobbles a fit together as best she can. Anyway, 16 assumes they obviously must be at Master Roshi's house so they head there next.

Android 18 holds up a traditional Chinese style dress to herself in a wall mirror. The mirror is broken and there is debris on the floor.

Daily DBZ 146-2. The Kame house is rocked by a nearby ki blast. After days of suffering in agonizing pain, Goku finally has healed from his heart virus. Chi-Chi and Master Roshi fear Goku is going to jump back into the fight, but Goku’s got other plans. Time to train and go beyond Super Saiyan.

Daily DBZ 146. Cell rampages through an airport leaving nothing but empty clothes everywhere. He chases a woman and child as they escape on an airplane. It's Krillin to the rescue as he intercepts the monster and battles him on the wing! Piccolo and Tien show up and scare Cell back into hiding.

Daily DBZ 145-2. Its a peaceful day in Nicky Town, seems like a nice place full of innocent people. Cell rolls in and puts a stop to that. in a flash the town turns to chaos and screaming and then falls silent. Piccolo and Tien pick up the disturbance and head that way, but they are too late.

Cell's shadow falls on a businessman drinking a soda at a cafe, he looks startled. A woman behind him screams as the other patrons turn to look.

Daily DBZ 145. Trunks and Krillin head back to Gero's lab to find the sub-basement where this timeline's Cell baby is growing. Trunks picks up some helpful Android blueprints then they obliterate the lab to save themselves a headache 24 years from now.

Krillin and Trunks fire ki blasts from their hands destroying the gigantic computer and the pod holding the baby Cell.

Daily DBZ 144-2. Cell heads on foot to the nearest population center. While standing on the highway, a bus almost runs into him and crashes. A team of Battle Ball players comes out and attempts to teach him a lesson, but Cell turns them into a quick snack.

Daily DBZ 144. Piccolo reveals that Cells attack hasn’t actually wounded him so much. Cell may be strong, but he’s not too sharp a fighter. As Krillin and Trunks arrive, Cell decides he should prioritize seeking out the Androids and whips out a Taiyoken, blinding his foes and making an easy getaway.

Daily DBZ 143-2. Piccolo escapes from the monsters grasp and convinces him to explain his whole deal. The creature's name is Cell. He was a project developed by Dr. Gero combining the genes of all of the world's strongest fighters. But Gero abandoned the project because it was taking too long.

Dr. Gero in his lab gives the thumbs down to a fetus-like creature in a science tube. A big computer off to the side has little graspy arms and one with a needle on it.

Daily DBZ 143. The monster snags ahold of Piccolo and jabs his arm with his tail stinger. Before he can suck Piccolo up, the army rolls in with tanks and missiles and barages him, forgetting they already tried this back in the King Piccolo days. So they get blown up with their own missiles.

The monster, clamped around Piccolo with his tail jabbed into his arm pushes a wave of force at a bunch of missiles fired by tanks and missile launchers the commander looks startled as the missiles start to fall back to Earth.

Daily DBZ 142-2. Piccolo reveals his newly emerged power, which quakes the planet, but the monster reveals an even more stunning power that seems to be the ki of all of Earth’s heroes overlapping. It even whips one of Piccolo’s own Special Beam Cannons back at him. What the heck!?

From midair, the monster fires a beam matching Piccolo's corkscrew-like Special Beam Cannon at Piccolo.

Daily DBZ 142. Piccolo goes to find whatever is going on in Gingertown. He confronts a nasty bug monster who’s been gulping up all the town residents. The last survivor, sees Piccolo, a slightly less scary green monster and offers him a fortune before the creature liquifies him to Piccolo's horror.

Some kind of weird cricket man uses his long tail to stab into the back of some bald rich guy who starts to melt as his insides are sucked out. Piccolo looks on in horror.

Daily DBZ 141-3. Kami also witness what unfolds in Gingertown. Whatever this new threat is, it convinces him that its time he and Piccolo re-merge into one guy. Piccolo places his hand on Kami’s chest and absorbs Earth’s guardian. Farewell Kami!

Daily DBZ 141-2. Bulma calls up the Kame house and tells them to turn on the news. Something’s up in Gingertown! the 15000 residents vanished leaving behind their clothes. But the news report gets cut off as an unseen horror starts attacking the news crew.

Krillin holds a phone to his ear while watching a news brodacast on the TV. The reporter looks shocked as empty clothes lay in the field behind him.

Daily DBZ 141. The Android teens stop by a clothing store to replace 18’s tattered outfit, but they’re out in the sticks so all they have is western ware. She walks out without paying so of course the entire police force gets sent to intercept. 18 says ACAB and demolishes all the squad cars.

Daily DBZ 140-2. A short distance from the mysterious time machine, they find what looks to be an enormous cicada shell. Bravely, Trunks sticks his hand inside and realizes its still juicy. Looks like there's a fresh wet bug on the loose somewhere nearby. Oh boy.

Gohan pokes at the jeweled eye of an enormous cicada shell. Trunks pulls his hand back from inside it, covered in goo. Bulma clutches his shoulder in fear.

Daily DBZ 140. Gohan and Trunks rendezvous with Bulma and head to the site of the 2nd time machine. Seems something nasty hatched out of a weird egg and busted out. Trunks confirms its an exact match for his time machine, but its from 3 years in Trunks’ future and has been here rotting for 4 years.

Trunks stands inside a moss-covered time machine with the bubble top open. He holds up two halves of a strange eggshell. Gohan floats overhead examining a hole blasted through the canopy. Bulma stands by with her hovercraft in the distance.

Daily DBZ 139. Current day Bulma calls up the crew with some puzzling news. Her contacts found an old derelict time machine out in the woods that’s been badly damaged. But as far as Trunks knows, his mom only made one time machine and it's sitting in his pocket. HMMM
