Yesterday, unqualified DOD Secretary Hegseth reduced Senator Kelly’s military pension, censured him, and officially threatened him with criminal charges, all in retribution for Kelly’s speaking out against the Trump regime’s abuse of the military

You can’t underestimate vanity or ignorance as motivations for Trump’s behavior
A year ago, I went to Copenhagen to write about the political crisis sparked by Trump over Greenland. Danes told me that the US can already do whatever it wants on the island.
Their conclusion: Trump just wants the U.S. to look larger on a map

Five years ago today was the violent culmination of Trump and cohort’s plan to overturn a fair election to retain power. Corrupt and illegal only begin to describe what took place.

No wonder far-right Republicans buried the release of Jack Smith’s damning testimony late on NYE:

Kennedy's conspiracy-fueled leadership of the CDC endangers every American — especially our children.

This move fails to meet the scientific criteria for CDC guidance & will cause more confusion around vaccines that save lives.

This man is a threat to our nation’s health.

Rob Reiner rightfully saw Trump's coup attempt on January 6, 2021 - exactly five years ago today - as "the single worst crime against Democracy in our nation's history" and rightfully called out those senators not voting to convict him as seditionists.

The 2025 Republican-controlled House & Senate set a record for lowest amount of legislation passed in the 1st year of a new presidency. Less than 40 bills signed into law as well as the longest govt shutdown.

They still received full pay, benefits, and perks.

USPS quietly changed its postmark rules — mail is no longer dated when you drop it off. The “official” date is when it hits automated sorting — sometimes days later

Which could have major implications for mail in voting — it’s a clever way to disenfranchise voters that’s going largely overlooked

But remember when Trump said that America already had too many federal holidays, referring to MLK Day & Juneteenth? What’s wrong with those?
