What stands out to me here is that he says he’d take the $2000 to the casino… totally out of touch with so many in America to whom $2000 would make a significant difference and not take the chance of losing it! (Also not believing for ONE SECOND that this will actually happen!)
When the strongest argument for your policy is a list of lies (I count 7) and exaggerations (another 5), you reveal more than a wonky list of truths ever would.

When Gov got out of building housing the expectation was that developers would step in. Developers HAVE NOT stepped up and will not. Affordable housing is not a natural space. So Feds need to get back into that space with our national housing strategy. Provinces are not doing their part

Toyota is up +8% on the news of a 15% tariff. Ford, GM, Tesla, and all the other American car makers are going to be paying 50% more for their steel and copper, 25% more for their Canadian and Mexican production, and 55% on their Chinese production. Toyota only has to pay 15% more and they're done.
