On a remote Australian island, the birds are so full of plastic they crunch
Seabirds have been fishing plastic from the ocean and feeding it to their chicks, researchers say. One bird was found to have ingested nearly 800 pieces.

You may be familiar with the famous Iditarod dog sled race; however, there is another form of dog sled racing. While in Fairbanks last March, I photographed sprint dog sled racing.

Excellent podcast on Lani Hotch, a Tlingit elder, activist, and culture bearer for Klukwan, a village on the Chilkat River. She’s a traditional and contemporary weaver living a traditional Tlingit life. Her dedication to preserving Tlingit culture is inspiring.
