A wren’s clutch size ranges from 3-10 eggs with an incubation period of 9-16 days

You may be familiar with the famous Iditarod dog sled race; however, there is another form of dog sled racing. While in Fairbanks last March, I photographed sprint dog sled racing.

Excellent podcast on Lani Hotch, a Tlingit elder, activist, and culture bearer for Klukwan, a village on the Chilkat River. She’s a traditional and contemporary weaver living a traditional Tlingit life. Her dedication to preserving Tlingit culture is inspiring.

Ethical wildlife photography is crucial. What may seem insignificant could mean life or death for wildlife.

I consider an animal's well-being more important than the image and will forgo a photo if I feel that it stresses an animal or puts it at risk.
