This is entirely for me. It's both a celebration and a declaration.

20 years ago today I was diagnosed with tonsil cancer.

Surgeries, radiation therapy and chemotherapy and I am still here.

Certain treatment side effects are forever.

But. Again. I still hear.

Fuck Cancer!

Cunnilingus with an infected partner (apologies for TMI)
Vaccine could have prevented the cancer which handicapped me for life.
Treatment side effects: no saliva, damaged throat arteries, lung problems due to swallowing problems, ...,

I've been living in France for 40 years. At the beginning my mom was living in California. We would have conversations lasted less than 3 minutes and I would call after 22:30 at night.
Now? We have real-time video calls for as long as we want included in our Internet subscriptions.
Science-fiction!

One of the most common criticisms of the Mercator map is that it exaggerates the size of countries nearer the poles while downplaying the size of those near the equator.
With this tool, you can play around and compare the actual size of countries: www.thetruesize.com/
