There appears to be a bug in the game that instantly kills players after hitting a wall/portal wrong, but regardless, the Gwenith Glide is dangerous content for reasons unrelated to this bug

Just learned Gnomonkey's newest complaint video is trying to use UIM wipes to make a point about sea charting.
If you're wiping in 2025, 99% of the time it's because you made bad decisions. In all of these sailing cases, the bad decision is being deathbanked for sailing content in the first place.

I'd love to see a technical post-mortem on the Sailing launch once the dust settles. Really cool how they had set up a bunch of models and reports and stuff to gauge the actual player engagement in practice vs what they expected.
