a lot of people are like 'what if the beatles had stayed together?" & the answer to that is "moar beatles albums" duh. what poeople don't ask enoug is "what if the beatles plane crashed in the andes, & they had to decide which one of them to eat?" I think the answer would be mal evans, but 🧵1/11

Really getting into ghost-hunting lately. I hunt ghosts with a 410 shotgun loaded with birdshot, because—here's my theory—you don't need a lot of stopping power for a ghost.

I forgot to mention that during trick-or-treating two teenage girls stopped & said that their costumes were "Marry" & "Kill" & that their friend was lagging behind, & my sister had to inform me that she would be dressed as "Kiss" & not what I thought.

The word "dude" originated in 1883 when teenage NYC girls started calling a dandy "dodo" in a silly voice. Pronounced [DOO-deh] until written "dude" in newspapers, it became a know-nothing city vacationer on a western "dude ranch"; then a green cowboy; then any cowboy; and eventually any man.

Watching SNL this season is like watching Studio C sketches from BYU. It's a weird mix of familiar & unfamiliar faces; the acting is 100% committed even tho the writing is very bland; but the audience still seems to enjoy it.

Back when I was a detective, I caught the Switchback Road Killer. He took a trophy from each of his victims & had them displayed on shelves in his house: a bowling trophy, an archery trophy, golf trophy.... His slip up: a human head. He'd murdered another serial killer & taken one of his.

My sister's smart watch kept making this very high-pitched squealing noise that she said is a bell ringing, but it's right at the edge of my hearing loss from years of flying on airplanes, so all I get is….
