Back from #MesseSpiel It’s been my first time again after ten years. First time four our son too, so we bought only family related games this time and kept the haul also more on the reliable site :)

After a year, we had another evening playing #firefly #boardgame with seven players. It was an epic adventure and as a bonus, we painted all the ships together before the game started. I’m really surprised how much more immersion this little tweak spent.

Dusted out the box with this started Terrain sideproject
I’m absolutely surprised how much better these ruins now look with bases. Second half of bases still needs sanding.
Liked it so much that I challenged my son for a quick game of Firefight, which I lost with devastating 0:3 :D

Spontaneous decision to go for a batch painting of all the terminators I’ve built for my griffons over the last months. Not sure if I will finish them altogether, but I’m happy to get some color onto them :)

Finished painting the starting force four our campaign. These are 1500 points blessed sisters. I was forced to play the first game with a few minis still not finished. But now all in the glory colors of the emperor ;)

Another 10 plague marines out of the way. I've got my workflow and technique at the right spot for army painting now (I think 🤔). In a month, that's 15 plague marines, 12 poxwalkers, and a lord of contagion (though, in all honesty, I could go back and pick some details on him.

With the new additions to my #seraphim squad, I decided to ditch the old printed flight Stand and built some custom ones for the previously painted minis.
Also spent a bit time on improving the red armor, to make them more cohesive with the newly painted ones.

I tried a kind of slapchop method with some contrast and verdigries effect color to do these statues in NMM. Worked surprisingly well for a first attempt.

I’ve finished my Dominions now. It’s a mixed loadout since I only run three-model squads in OPR. The storm bolter goes into my standard squad so those blessed bolts can shred even more heretics :)

I’ve finished painting Clan Wren for now. Some of them are actually meant to have more individualized armor colors, but I’ll get to that later. But for now, they’re good to go for a few fun games.
