If we are to survive SNAP benefits being cut, communities will need to come together, organize, and likely step in where these programs have disappeared. This isn’t something that hasn’t been done before! It can be done again! These programs partly exist because needs were NOT being met.

America is so racist that some Americans believed SNAP benefits were for white people and food stamps were for black people and they did not know they were the same thing and are now horrified to learn they are losing their food subsidies.

Last night, we went for the first time to Wild West Market. We went because they are helping the community with meals for those who are not receiving their SNAP benefits. Since they are supporting the community, we want to support them!

Yeah, I had to look it up too. Turns out, it’s that beautiful nowhere in Arizona that’s totally worth the drive.
