Being locked in a restaurant is too good for him.

My mom passed suddenly & I bought the last ticket on a flight back east. As I booked it last minute, I had to check in at the desk, trying to control my sobs. Got a middle seat by the lavs. Somehow, this kind gate agent got me a better window seat where I could cry quietly. I still think about him.

Maybe in 1990 they said that.

Agreed! Car chases usually bore the heck out of me, but this one was riveting.

I beg of you - can you please stop playing that Stephanie Ruhle ad about there still being checks and balances? That ship has sailed.

Yep-same. When I had to go to the dmv office, one could make an appointment in advance and it was quite smooth. This year they offered renewal online and I got my license in a week. Easy peasy. It’s such an old, tired trope!

How Comics Are Made hit stores a couple of days ago. Tried local comic shop yesterday, lines were around the block! Or so I thought. Turns out teens and their moms aren’t that into 100+ years of comic production history, they were on line for Nintendo Switch 2 release next door. Howcomicsaremade.com

Hey Chris, just watched your segment with Jonathan Martin. He mentioned that Harris never said what she would do re economy/inflation- she constantly talked about punishing price gougers, but maybe he doesn’t remember that. I do.

I used to hang at a bar he played at during his Buster Poindexter days, my friend was going out with his brother. David was so funny and kind- and dang, he lit up the room when he entered.

Watched a Christmas movie I didn’t know was a Christmas movie: “The Silent Partner.” Unexpected gem. I enjoyed seeing 1974 throwbacks - tshirts that would get you hauled into HR, a crowd waiting for a bank to open and Christopher Plummer in a choker!
