As people across the country are waking up to ICE’s atrocities, we demand transformative change from our elected officials at all levels. ICE agents tear families apart, deteriorate community safety, and cause chaos wherever they go - whether it's Minneapolis, Chicago, Los Angeles or beyond.
January 12, 2026 at 10:08 PM
Under the Trump admin's massive expansion of the detention system, loss of life in ICE custody is truly staggering. In 2025, 31 people died in ICE custody — an all-time high. Now, there have been four deaths in ICE custody in just 10 days of 2026. It’s devastating, enraging, and must change now.
January 12, 2026 at 10:08 PM
ICE kills — full stop. Whether ICE is targeting people in the streets, where they work or live or behind closed doors in one of its nearly 200 abuse-ridden detention centers across the country. ICE is an inherently violent agency jeopardizing families and community safety.
January 12, 2026 at 10:08 PM
While communities in Minneapolis & across the country mourn the death of Renee Nicole Good, who was executed by ICE, ICE has revealed that 4 people died in its custody in the first 10 days of the New Year: Parady La, Luis Beltran Yanez–Cruz, Geraldo Lunas Campos, and Luis Gustavo Nunez Caceres.

The @aclu.org has documented more than a dozen cases of pregnant women experiencing medical neglect while detained at Stewart Detention Center and the South Louisiana ICE Processing Center. A woman with a high risk pregnancy was held in solitary confinement. As detention expands, so does its abuses.

Trump’s use of large-scale detention facilities on military bases exacerbates the well-documented abuses inherent to the detention system. We demand the immigration detention center at Fort Bliss be shut down immediately! Read the letter from @aclu.org.

The stories of pregnant women in ICE detention — one shackled while miscarrying, another placed in solitary confinement with a high-risk pregnancy — are not one offs.

They're a clear pattern of neglect where ICE ignores its own rules. This cruelty must end.
