I had a CPAP prescribed and tried it for a month. It was awful. I didn’t like the straps and the thing on my face and I’m still here to tell about it so I guess maybe I didn’t need it. I have seen some ads on TV promoting some new technology that doesn’t require a mask. I don’t know how it works.
One of many lasting memories of Hudson’s was the fancy elevators with uniformed starters and operators. When I was five, I stuck my fingers into the inner brass elevator door as it closed. Yes, I cried and was rushed to Hudson’s onsite doctor. I survived. 😀

Wow! Perfect way to leave Vegas on a high note. Can’t believe I’ve been here nine years. It’s changed in the 45+ years since my first trip…and, so have I. It’s become a big city with big city problems. I like the daily sunshine and hot weather. It’s only 75 this afternoon, and I’m already cold.
I’ve been suffering more than a month waiting to see specialists. I’ve got to really study my Medicare options in the next two months. I don’t believe healthcare will be fixed in my lifetime.
2) Kyla was the name of the owners' daughter. It was where we met Molly Abraham, @freep restaurant critic, and became lifelong friends. Similar, lasting memories of Ferndale. Neither city should get frozen in time. Evolve and embrace diversity.
1) We were fans of both Royal Oak and Ferndale in the 1980s. They were both eclectic, welcoming places where we enjoyed restaurants and bars. I remember many times we would see Dr. Jack Kevorkian and Geoffrey Fieger strolling down the street. A wonderful restaurant was Kyla's on 4th Street....
