The Detroit News just published our coalition's op-ed on the need to boost DDOT wages and improve service.

Call Mayor Duggan and urge him to act: 313-224-3400.
Opinion: It’s time to pay workers and double DDOT
It’s hard to find anyone who denies the need for better public transit service in Detroit.

We had a great rally this morning with our friends at Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 26.

Call Mayor Duggan today at (313) 224-3400 and urge him to raise wages for DDOT workers so we can #DoubleDDOT!
TRU and ATU Local 26 members rallying to demand doubling DDOT in size, service, and frequency, paying bus drivers living wages, and making sure bus riders and drivers are respected.

🚍 Detroiters deserve reliable bus service. DDOT workers deserve fair pay. Mayor Duggan must settle worker contracts and pay competitive wages to keep Detroit moving!
📣 Join us TOMORROW, October 8th to demand action: bit.ly/DDOTRally

For Marjorie of Big Rapids, transit matters because "I don't want my car to own ME". And Jessica of Paris agrees.

Transit will lose money from last year in this budget - leaving Up North riders stranded. Will our state leaders act to fund transit?

Transit matters to Marjorie of Big Rapids because "I don't want my car to own ME". Transit matters to Jessica of Paris (MI) because too many people rely on transit and depend on it. They're posing with signs in front of the MI Capitol.

For Ryan, transit allows her husband and her to share a car, saving money.

Transit is set to lose money from last year in this budget - meaning people like Ryan will burden higher costs. Will our state leaders act to fund transit?

Transit matters to Ryan of Grosse Pointe Park because it allows her husband and her to share a car, saving money on gas. Ryan is holding a sign saying this.

DDOT's 8 Warren and SMART's 275 Telegraph both have service near the conference center.

Please note, only the SMART Southbound is accessible, and the DDOT Eastbound doesn't have a sidewalk. We're sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

Bellagio Banquet Center (23900 Warren Ave) can be accessed via driving, DDOT, and SMART. If driving, there is a small parking lot off of Warren in front of the building, and a larger one off of Telegraph in the back.
