ethan was the one that ended up falling for emmrich first. this was very surprising to them bc they had never been in love before. in the past, they always struggled to make friends & often pushed people away

For…ever, Rook replied, letting go of their glamour, revealing their undying beauty before him. Emmrich smiled not with lips, but with his soul. None shall mourn, for we are reborn. Your love is for what I fell, now amongst the flowers forever we dwell.
