the gardens have always been a place of comfort to esther. it's one of the places she found comfort with the wisps since she always found them fascinating as a child. they truly are one of her happy places

when she was little, ethan and emmrich would always take her to the gardens. she'd visit her mum's grave and tell her how she has two amazing dads looking after her now. she's also talk to her grandparents (ethan and emmrich's parents) and tell them her dads make her so happy
